The latest “Suicide Squad” news has fans of DC’s “Batman: The Animated Series” experiencing a nerdgasm. According to El Mayimbe of Latino Review (how do they always get the scoop over there?) Margot Robbie’s Harley will have a few different looks throughout the film. Directed by David Ayer, “Suicide Squad” will have the big screen version of Harley sporting prison attire that references “Batman: TAS,” as well as a dress in a scene where they infiltrate a club.
Fans of the animated series will also squeal with joy to know that Harley’s “Babies,” the hyenas Bud and Lou, are rumored to make an appearance in the film as well.
“Suicide Squad” is scheduled to hit theaters on August 5, 2016 and also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and Jared Leto as The Joker.
